A new Silent Hill game was unveiled at the State of Play recently. Silent Hill: The Short Message is now available for free. Although it has only been a week since the game’s release, it has exceeded the 1 million player threshold.

The Short Message, available for free for PlayStation 5, has reached 1 million players since January 31st. This shows that it has managed to attract attention on the PlayStation Store in a short time.
The game tells the story of Anita, who finds herself in a rundown apartment building and an alternate dimension after receiving messages from her friend Maya. Our main character, Anita, explores an area haunted by monsters and searches for answers.
According to Sony, Silent Hill: Short Message promises a modern Silent Hill experience. The game was also not expected to be released on PlayStation 5 immediately after it was announced. This created a big surprise and made its mark on the PlayStation Store.
If you’re a PlayStation 5 owner, you can now add Silent Hill to your library, download and play for free. It’s worth noting that the game is relatively short, but very well received.
Konami also recently released a new trailer for Silent Hill 2 Remake. The studio aims to bring the iconic horror game to today’s technology with improved and modernized fighting mechanics.
